Abstract

Diamond Antenna Dish surface plays an important role for transmitting and receiving signals.The Diamond Antenna Dish normally use in Mobile Van Antenna.The counter measure surface between original CAD data and scan CAD data is in the range of ±0.5mm and not more than 3% standard deviation surface out of tolerance from the surface analyse.The analyse of counter measure of Diamond Antenna Dish mould prototype surface based on fabrication and finishing process of the surface.The SLS 3D Printing Machine used for fabrication of Diamond Antenna Dish mould prototype.The finishing process was done by wet sanding,applied plaster cement,painting and polishing.In this finishing process,have done 6 methods by the scanning of each process and come out with the analysis results.From the analysis,come out with a table of colour scale analyse value on each method of finishing process. From the table,a graph drew based on section area label versus colour scale analyse value on each method of finishing process.After that,do some calculation based on the graph to find mean,median and mode.Finally discussed each method of finishing process and also overall surface tolerance.This counter measure will improve the surface of Diamond Antenna Dish to get best quality surface that transfer frequency or signal with stable by reflection on the smooth surface.
