Abstract

This project is about an optimization of a temperature controller by using programming. It is to provide a simulation data to gain the output of temperature gas turbine. This project is also to develop programming of monitoring the temperature gas turbine by using Visual Basic. The project is more about the temperature from gas turbine which is display at the Personal Computer (PC) by using a Visual Basic software programming. The system will monitor the temperature of gas turbine. All the system is used to reduce the temperature at gas turbine. If the temperature at the exhaust sensor is detecting temperature over the limit, the system will display the WARNING signal at the Graphical User Interface (GUI). This is to inform the other process will be running to control the temperature before the gas is delivered to steam turbine for other process. The system which is used to control the temperature is Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG). After finish repairing the gas temperature, WARNING signal will disappear and the system will operate as usual. All the gas temperature reading is stored at database by using Microsoft Access software before invite into VB programming. The system at the VB programming is run automatically. Just click the START command button to run the system. The Graphical User Interface (GUI) for this system has been designed for user friendly operation. Besides that, it makes the software easy to use.
