The Electronic Watchdog function as an alarm system for any house or premise. It is built to help the house owner to be alert with the existance of someone or guest outside their house. Basically, this Electronic Watchdog system act as a normal watchdog in real life which will bark as to inform their master if there is someone or guest outside thier house. So in this system, the task for normal watchdog has been modified into electronic action but with same mission, to inform the house owner. So, this will help user to monitor outside their house without any help from real watchdog. This system is designed to detect any object within the limited range. Any human movement towards the detection area will influence to obstruct the IR beam that being transmitted by the IR LED to IR receiver module. Besides, this system also has a delay circuit that will produce a delay in the alarm circuit. It is introduce as to let the system analyze that the object being detect is a real man or just a bird passing through the IR beam. The delay circuit will only activate the alarm when the object is exactly obstructing the IR beam exceed than 0.1 seconds. So, if a bird just passing through the beam, it will not make the alarm to sound.
