Abstract

The title for this project is Hardware Development of Electrical Capacitance Tomography Applying Ac-Based Concept. In this project, it will concentrate on ECT pipeline sensor and Measurement System development. This objectives in doing this project are to implement the ECT pipeline sensor in order to determine the changes of capacitance due to changes in permittivity (E) of flowing materials inside the pipe and then design and implement an electronics measurement system, based on acbased measurement; which will provide the appropriate standing capacitance of the electrodes. It is important to investigate suitable materials to be used in ECT sensor. Overall, the scopes for my project include a detailed study on process tomography, especially ECT, design parameters for sensor and measuring circuit and an analysis on the measurement results.
