Abstract

Thermoacoustic cooling is an emerging technology that offers a promising alternative to traditional cooling methods. Resonance frequency plays a significant role in the performance of a thermoacoustic cooler, making it an important parameter to consider. This study investigates the resonance frequency, and its influence on the performance of thermoacoustic cooling systems. Resonance test was carried out with and without the presence of the stack and the ambient temperature was also monitored. It was found that the presence of stack in the resonator affects the cooling performance of the system. It is, therefore, essential to consider the impact of these characteristics on future operations of the thermoacoustic cooling systems so that better performance can be achieved.
