Abstract

This project will present a tool which is used to predict the flux-linkage characteristics for 6/4 switched reluctance machine using Matlab-Simulink. Without using the dynamic equation of the machine , the flux-linkage characteristics can be predicted if the machine dimensions and the B-H sheet for specific material used on machine are provided as well. In this case, the current value is not known but it becomes as an output accompany with the flux-linkage value. Finite Element Analysis (FEA) will be used at the end of this project to get the flux-linkage characteristics using the same machine dimensions. This project is hopefully can assist any user who want to investigate the flu-linkage value including saturation for a specific value of current.
