Abstract

In order to develop usable products, customer needs and requirements have to be taken into consideration. A product will be more competitive in terms oflead-time and cost if it has high design efficiency. Design a product, that fulfills these two requirements, it will be more attractive in the market In this case study, the use of integrated DF A and QFD is discussed and the benefits of this approach are presented. T eamSET software is used as a tool in this case study to show how the integrated approach can be carried out via a case study product.
