Abstract
There are parents eager to get the aura of sheikhs teachers of al-Quran in Egypt. They intend to send their children to memorize the Quran by only leaving the children in a foreign land, managed by private institution, operating without supervision. This leads Education Malaysia Egypt (EME) to problems to monitor their progress and performance in Egypt. The concept of 1Malaysia among Malaysian students in Egypt is suitable to foster unity among themselves; coming from various majors, home states and family backgrounds.
