Abstract
This project discussed the performance result of the dual band printed folded dipole antenna for wireless communication system. This proposed been simulated using CST Microwave Studio simulation software. The folded dipole structures are implementing at both substrate surface of patch and ground plane. This technique will resonate at 2.4 GHz of frequency for WLAN application. A rhombic shaped are added to the front dipole to disturb the return loss and to introduce a new resonant frequency at 3.5 GHz for WiMAX application. The return loss of the proposed antenna shows return loss of – 22.634 dB at 2.4 GHz of frequency with 3.36 dB of gain. At 3.5 GHz, the return loss is – 10.380 dB with 4.417 dB of gain.
