Abstract
This project discusses on the evaluating and understanding the function of SAP ECC6.0 focusing in creation, updating and amendment info for material number process. Understanding the framework for SAP practices from the previous project and find out the problem and solution how to make improvement in creation material number and do less mistake in work process. MCRSTT (Material Creation Request Submission and Tracking Tool) this is a website application running on MS stage to permit clients to request their new item creation or amendment on proper way. Another component impact the acceptability of cataloging is the basic code. The daily creation new material number in SAP is one of the primary classifying structure that should to be focusing, and prevent the mistake in creation because in future it will be in a trouble. There is three analys is, for current problem start with information data (SPIR-Spare Part List and 1 nterchangeability Record) not very clear of the fact that client send it in configurati<;>n in picture format. The arrangement is request that the customer send the record into pdf designed, so it can be duplicate it into excel sheet. Timing likewise a major issue and need to make some change. So, need to takes a great deal of time to make new material number without a full data from customer and it takes two weeks to finish the assignment. By utilizing MCRSTT, customer and cataloguer effectively can check the status through this web. The last analysis is about creation material number furthermore, the present issue is about duplication or wrongly insert the information thjng in the PETRONAS stock. The planning is cataloguer group make a cleaning procedure once per month to minimize customer cost. Further research using different approach by doing some calculation to find out the best solution and fo llowing the steps of Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). This exploration has been broadly used to answer multi-criteria decision making and is presently largely used in the subject of choice and valuation especially in the area of engineering.
