Abstract

This book targets digital integrated circuit (IC) designers who intend to build fast prototyping using field-programmable gate array (FPGA) in IC testing, hardware security, and image classification applications. FPGA is a prominent device since it offers parallel computation, power efficiency, and scalability. Hence, FPGA is suitable in developing the Internet-of-Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications. This book details the FPGA implementation of hardware security and image classification which are essential components in loT and Al applications, as these fields increasingly intertwine to create more secure and intelligent systems. Moreover, the memory built-in self-test (MBIST) is also explored where MBIST can be used to ensure the reliability of memory systems in loT and Al hardware.
