Abstract

The isolation capabilities of the flyback-based converter have garnered significant attention in different applications, particularly in photovoltaic inverter systems. However, the behavior of the anomalies, especially the parasitic element, has posed a significant difficulty in design. These irregularities ultimately interfere with the switching sequence, particularly during the current peak control operation. A novel topology is suggested to address the issue of distorted primary current during current peak control operation by leveraging the relationship between inductance and frequency in the parallel resonant circuit, as well as the input impedance of the converter. For this reason, an adaptive auxiliary path is activated during high-frequency switching. Analysis of acquiring the critical component value using the proposed input impedance match is discussed, and the alleviated result from the 100W enhanced converter topology test bench is obtained and presented.
