Abstract

A The aim of this study is to validate the measurement instruments for Information Technology (IT), Knowledge Management (KM), Human Resource Management (HRM), and organizational culture dimensions and to assess their influence on employee performance in the context of Aviation sector industry. Despite the recognized importance of these internal organizational capabilities, there is a lack of studies that integrate IT, KM, HRM, and organizational culture simultaneously to examine their collective effect on employee performance. This study employed a quantitative research approach using a pilot survey design. A total of 42 senior employees and managers from Global Aerospace Logistics in Abu Dhabi, UAE participated in the survey. Data were analyzed using SPSS, assessing reliability and internal consistency with Cronbach’s Alpha and corrected item–total correlations. Key findings revealed significant positive correlations between IT and KM capabilities and employee performance, while HRM components showed positive but mostly non-significant relationships. Among organizational culture dimensions, market and hierarchy cultures were strongly associated with employee performance. These results provide a solid foundation for further analysis using PLS-SEM to test the proposed research hypotheses and offer practical insights for improving employee performance through the effective integration of organizational capabilities.
