Abstract

The global temperature gets tremendously hotter from day to day with the increasing number of equipments which contributes for the rising heat. The idea of utilizing the existing inverse properties of ground soil has been initiated in this research. The ground soil which intimates human body, has reverse actions over temperature of inner and outer regions. The research utilizes the ground properties with a specially designed evacuation and control system to provide conditioned air for basic type accommodation in order to provide comfort cooling zone in most economical method. The comfort cooling zone (about 24oC) has been met and the researcher explored further the design and control system to replace the currently existing air-conditioning system operated by compressor and condensing unit which requires not only high power consumption, but also heat generation to the surrounding which contributes to the global warming phenomenon.
