Abstract
The present invention relates to a system for generating electric power from a fan comprises a linking member for connecting a rear shaft of the fan to a direct current (DC) motor , the DC motor converts the rotating motion of the rear shaft to electrical energy, a voltage doubler circuit connected to the DC motor for increasing the output voltage of the electrical energy from the DC motor, a rechargeable battery connected to the voltage doubler circuit for receiving the increased output voltage to charge the battery, a voltage divider circuit connected to the battery for creating a reference voltage to produce a low signal voltage at its output, a controller connected to the voltage divider circuit for receiving signal input from the voltage divider circuit, and a voltage regulating circuit connected to the two outputs from the battery and the DC motor respectively for stabilizing the output voltage to a desired level, wherein the stabilized output voltage from the voltage regulating circuit will be used to power electrical devices connected thereto.
